Main responsibilities

As a project manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Schedule, organize and manage all assigned projects.
  • Take part in internal meetings related to the project.
  • Represent Atwill-Morin Group in various meetings with the client and consultants (participate in start-up meetings, site meetings, etc.).
  • Manage labour, materials, equipment and tools.
  • Create and update the project schedule regularly.
  • Follow up on shop drawings and manage changes.
  • Determine if permits are needed and obtain them as required.
  • Implement and supervise health and safety programs on assigned sites.
  • Prepare and submit all required contractual documents and correspondence for the project.
  • Inform client and subcontractors of all changes and request revised invoices as needed.
  • Create and hand out job site instructions.
  • Follow up on costs and changes.
  • Update the accounting department on the status of the project and prepare billing.
  • Manage all aspects of the project and implement changes as required.
  • Ensure all changes to the contract are up to date.
  • Ensure compliance of all regulations and laws.
  • Manage non-conformance and deficiency reports.
  • Filing of all documents related to the project.
  • Manage job site equipment such as garbage containers, etc.

Request skills

  • Training in civil engineering, architecture or any other field related to construction
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and quotes
  • Knowledge of construction industry
  • Good communication skills in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • You need to have attended the SST course on worksites
  • 2 to 3 years of experience as a project manager

The perfect candidate is motivated to achieve great work and is a good proactive team worker with excellent organizational and professional skills.
